VASHON REMODEL & ADDITION | Vashon Island, Washington

Owners of this unique Island version of a traditional early 20th century four square requested a return to their house's original glory for the dated 1970's kitchen. The location was shifted and space was captured from the existing covered porch, to provide a kitchen complete with large prep island, custom Hoosier and family communications center, and hidden dog feeding stations. Period materials included custom painted wood cabinetry and soapstone counters, as well as a new Aga range, fire clay farmhouse sink and reproduction light fixtures.
